By Florida Statute, the North Florida TPO's duties include developing of plans and programs to guide the region's transportation planning process. These plans and programs address both long and short term needs and are created with input from member jurisdictions, transportation agencies and the public:

• Long Range Transportation Plan (20-year horizon)
• Transportation Improvement Program (Five-year horizon)
• Unified Planning Work Program (One-year horizon)

The TPO also produces reports, maps, brochures, presentations and newsletters as part of its annual work program.
