Flextime is a non traditional office schedule, such as working from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It can also include working four 10-hour days instead of five eight hour days. Telecommuting (also called teleworking) enables employees to work from home or from smaller offices with communications access to the main workplace. Telecommuting is ideal for jobs that require research, analysis, reading, writing, designing and data entry.
